This week in Hawaii

There was lots of rain this week but with the rain comes a rainbow.

"The magnitude 9.0 quake and ensuing tsunami that struck off the coast of Tohoku in Japan was so powerful that it broke off huge icebergs thousands of miles away in the Antarctic, locally altered Earth's gravity field, and washed millions of tons of debris into the Pacific." - msnbc.msn.com

Looks like that's where this can my friend Brenda found on her morning beach walk might of come from.

The Kaʻaʻawa Valley on the windward Oahu was a sacred place for the ancient Hawaiian's and today is home to the Kualoa Ranch. The Kualoa Ranch runs tourist activities such as horseback riding and hiking and is also known as the location for movies such as Jurassic Park, Mighty Joe Young, Pearl Harbor, Windtalkers, Godzilla, and Lost.

Last night at the Kualoa Ranch Camp Erdman hosted the kick off to it's annual fundraising campaign. The food was awesome, the location was beautiful and the hula dancers were fun to watch. To donate to Camp Erdman click here.
